I am a scholar in the field of economic history, having recently completed my doctoral studies at the London School of Economics (LSE). Starting in October 2024, I will begin the Economic History Society (EHS) fellowship at Oxford University. I obtained Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham at Ningbo, China and Master's degree in Economic History from LSE. After successfully defending my thesis in May 2024, I am excited to announce that I will be entering the job market in September 2024. 

My research lies at the intersection of economic history and political economy. Particularly, I am interested in social mobility, marriage assortment, meritocracy, and the role of institution.
